Most any street within the City limits, some City streets are owned by the state and those cannot be adopted under the City of Grants Pass Public Works Adopt-A-Street Program. Each street or section of street is an average of .5 miles. We just ask that it is longer than 1 block. Participants must clean the sidewalks on both sides of the street at least 4 times a year for 2 years.
The City provides safety vests and trash bags for each cleanup. It is highly recommended to wear gloves and eye protection. If you have a large group we will not have enough vests to supply the full group, but enough disbursed throughout the group will be sufficient.
The City Street Crew will pick up the trash as soon as you report it to us. Please keep it out of the street or in someone's yard. Call 541-450-6110 with directions when the bags are ready to be picked up.
