The City of Grants Pass, Oregon is soliciting sealed written proposals from qualified design firms to generate the design, architectural, engineering, and construction cost estimates for a new outdoor aquatics facility to replace our current Caveman Pool located at 801 NE 9th St, Grants Pass Oregon. Respondents to this Request for Proposal (RFP) should determine the most realistic and feasible way to generate a new construction design for an outdoor aquatics facility design that maximizes the available space and recreational activities for community use. Experience in Design, Engineering, and Construction Cost Estimation of Aquatic Facilities.
Knowledge of Oregon Building Codes, Municipal ADA Requirements, and Public Pool Regulations.
Knowledge of Stainless-Steel and Membrane Liner Systems for Pool Construction.
Experience in Designs that Incorporate Solar Heating Alternatives.
Experience in Working with the Public Sector in Designing for Municipal Development Projects, Willingness to Engage in Public Meetings and Presentations to City Council.
