Applications are being accepted for two positions on the Historical Buildings and Sites Commission due to terms that expire May 30, 2017.
This committee reviews proposed alterations to any Historic District; promotes community historic preservation; advises other interested agencies on matters related to historic preservation; identifies areas of archaeological significance and buildings of historic or architectural significance. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be a resident of the City of Grants Pass. One of these positions is a citizen at large and the other position will be filled by a member of the Josephine County Historical Society. These are two-year appointments.

Applications must be received no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, May 8, 2017. Applicants will be interviewed by the Council at the Council Workshop on Monday, May 15, 2017. Appointments will be made by the Council at the City of Grants Pass Council meeting on Wednesday, May 17, 2017.
