The Student Firefighter receives training and performs firefighting duties and emergency medical related care related to preventing and suppressing fires and saving of life and property. This position is intended to provide on-the-job experience and reimbursement of tuition per program requirements.
This recruitment is a joint recruitment with local area agencies for the position of Student Firefighter. Please follow the link to Rogue Community College to complete the application process. On the application you will have the opportunity to select which agency is your preference.
Voluntary orientation for the physical test will February 25, 2017 and the written and physical test are scheduled for March 4, 2017.
For the City of Grants Pass Student Firefighter program, Students would be starting on September 4, 2017.
