GRANTS PASS – Applications are being accepted for one position on the City of Grants Pass Historical Buildings and Sites Commission. This term expires Dec. 5, 2022.
The committee’s purpose is to review proposed alterations to any Historic District or designated structure in the Urban Growth Boundary; to promote community historic preservation; to advise other interested agencies on matters related to historic preservation; and to identify areas of archeological significance and buildings of historic or archeological significance.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be a resident of the City of Grants Pass. The special qualification for this position must be a representative who is the owner of a business located within the Central Business District of the City of Grants Pass.

Applications must be received no later than 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7. Applications will be reviewed by the commission Thursday, Dec. 10. Applicants will be interviewed by the city council at their workshop Monday, Dec. 14. Appointments will be made by the council at their regular business meeting 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16.
