The City of Grants Pass is hiring for a part-time, limited duration Sanitation Technician.
The position will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms, locker rooms, common spaces and public safety equipment, including vehicles. Incumbents will be required to operate a motor vehicle and must be able to work independently.
Essential Duties include: Deep cleaning and sanitizing of offices, meeting rooms, equipment and vehicles, cleaning rooms and equipment with EPA-approved products, including high-touch areas such as tables, desks, chairs, doors and other touch points, use of Aero Clave RDS 3110 decontamination equipment, and transport public safety vehicles to and from sanitation points within the City of Grants Pass.
Minimum Job Requirements: A high school diploma or GED, valid Oregon driver’s license or the ability to obtain a valid Oregon Class C Driver’s license by appointment to the position and the ability to obtain CJIS Certification within 60 days of hire.
Benefits included for this position: sick leave after 90 days, accruing at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
