[ARCHIVED] City Hosts UGB Rezone Virtual Forum

GRANTS PASS – The City of Grants Pass is hosting a virtual community forum regarding the Urban Growth Boundary Rezoning Project 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4. City staff will present proposed rezoning for the study area, followed by a question and answer session for forum participants.

Members of the community may sign up for the virtual forum by contacting the Community Development Department at (541)450-6060 or by email: cnealon@grantspassoregon.gov.

Forum information will be sent to registered participants as the date approaches. The information will also be posted to the project page of the city’s website on the day of the forum. For those who can’t participate live, a video recording of the forum will be posted to the webpage.

Community members my provide input and feedback on the project in a variety of ways. A new survey link will be posted to the project webpage the day of the virtual forum. Members of the public may also share their comments by phone or in-person by scheduling a meeting with city planners.

Multiple 30-minute meeting slots are available to speak with planners at City Hall Aug. 5 and 6. The in-person meetings will be held in conference rooms where social distancing can be safely practiced. There is a maximum capacity of five members of the public per meeting.
