GRANTS PASS – The City of Grants Pass Parks Department has reopened city dog parks and tennis courts for public use provided users practice safe social distancing and follow proper state guidelines.

Dog park users must maintain the required six feet apart from other users not in their own party. Athletic courts are open for tennis and pickleball only. Singles play is strongly recommended. Basketball and other contact sports are still not allowed.

Groups of more than 10 people are prohibited. Park users should bring their own water and hand sanitizer, avoid touching shared surfaces, and are prohibited from gathering or lingering in parking lots.

Those experiencing any symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath should remain at home and contact their healthcare provider. For additional information, visit: www.healthoregon.org/coronavirus.
