The City is also preparing the Action Plan for the first year of the 5-Year Consolidated Plan, 2020-2021. This year the City began a competitive application process to award a portion of the CDBG funds available to non-profit groups in the form of public service grants.
The City of Grants Pass has received applications for CDBG public services grant awards and is prepared to review those applications at a public hearing on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 11:45 AM. The City Council will listen to each applicant’s 5-minute presentation and participate in a 5-minute Q&A. At the end of the presentations, the Council will score the applications based on a set scoring criterion. Council will deliberate and decide which organizations will receive funding based on the ranking of the highest to the lowest. A Notice of the hearing date and time is attached here.
