[ARCHIVED] Have Coffee With a Cop Dec. 12

GRANTS PASS – Residents are invited to have a cup of Joe with Grants Pass DPS Police Officers during Coffee With A Cop 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, at Rogue Roasters, 610 SW 6th St. Members of the public can connect over coffee and casual conversation with officers about community topics.

Rogue Roasters joins Human Bean, Dutch Bros., and Starbucks in partnering with DPS for quarterly Coffee With A Cop events.

“We appreciate the invitations of these local coffee shops to open their doors to the police department and citizens of Grants Pass,” said Sgt. Mike Miner.

The purpose of these community engagements is to discuss questions, concerns, or stories with local residents.

“We, as your police department, will not have an agenda to present. Rather, we will let you decide the topics for discussion,” said Miner.

“We are excited for this chance to interact with our citizens in a low-key manner. This is an opportunity for all of us to communicate positively and build relationships with each other,” Miner said.
