Applications are still being accepted for a position on the City of Grants Pass Budget Committee due to a term expiration. The purpose of this committee is to receive and review the recommended budget and approve a budget for Council’s consideration.
Special qualifications for the Budget Committee include being a resident of the City of Grants Pass and a registered voter. Experience in evaluation and analysis of the delivery of services is beneficial as well as a background in civic and community volunteer programs.
Applications are available at the City Administration Office, 101 N.W. A Street, or online at www.grantspassoregon.gov/committee-application. Applications must be received no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2019. Applicants will be interviewed by the City Council at their workshop on Monday, April 29, 2019. Appointment will be made by the Council at the City Council meeting on Wednesday, May 1, 2019.
