Applications are being accepted for three positions on the Committee on Public Art due to expiring terms.
The purpose of this committee is to provide the Grants Pass City Council with information pertaining to public art; create opportunities for the placement of art in public locations; and to promote collaboration between City departments, artists, architects, developers and property owners.
There are no mandatory membership categories. Representatives will generally represent visual arts, performing arts and art education fields.
Applications are available at the City Administration Office, 101 N.W. A Street, or on the internet at www.grantspassoregon.gov/committee-application. Applications must be received no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, January 7, 2019. Appointments will be made by the Council at the City Council meeting on Wednesday, January 16, 2019.
