[ARCHIVED] Accepting Applications for Historic Building and Sites Commission

Applications are being accepted for two positions on the

Historical Buildings and Sites Commission.

This committee reviews proposed alterations to any Historic District; promotes community historic preservation; advises other interested agencies on matters related to historic preservation; identifies areas of archaeological significance and buildings of historic or architectural significance.  Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be a resident of the City of Grants Pass.  One position will be filled by an owner of a business located within the Central Business District of the City of Grants Pass.  The other position will be appointed from the Josephine County Historical Society.  These are two-year appointments.

You may obtain an application at the City Administration Office, 101 N.W. A Street, or online at https://www.grantspassoregon.gov/committee-application.  Applications must be received no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, November 12, 2018.  Applicants will be interviewed by the Council at the Council Workshop on Monday, November 19, 2018.   Appointments will be made by the Council at the City of Grants Pass Council meeting on Wednesday, November 21, 2018.
