The primary responsibilities of the GIS Technician are updating tabular and spatial records, production and maintenance of various static and web map and apps, and training and technical support of GIS users. Incumbents will be responsible for website updates, fielding citizen and outside agency questions and requests, and will be the main point of contact for our employees.
Minimum Qualifications:
Training and Experience: An Associate's Degree in a related field and two years of experience in GIS and database management are required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed in the job description.
