Parks Advisory Committee

Purpose

The mission of the Parks Advisory Committee is to provide, preserve and promote parks, trails and recreation services to benefit the Grants Pass community.

To review and make recommendations for:

  • Allocation of recreation resources between users
  • Funding
  • Needs and locations for new park land and trail locations
  • Park planning
  • Preservation of park resources

    Apply for Housing Advisory Committee - Applications are being accepted for two positions. Special qualification: A representative from an organization that develops and/or operates housing, transitional housing, short-term housing, or shelter for special needs (e.g., Options, OnTrack, Kairos, Women’s Crisis Support Team, Hearts With A Mission, Gospel Rescue Mission, etc.) and one representative who is a residential developer. Fill out and submit online by September 15, 2023

    Apply for Sustainability and Energy Action Committee - Applications are being accepted for seven positions. Special qualification: Ideal membership would include an energy efficiency specialist, solar/energy technology specialist, solid waste or recycling experience, and a student. Fill out and submit online by September 29, 2023
