Crime Stoppers is a nonprofit organization that is underwritten by Sonitrol of Southern Oregon.
The Department of Public Safety participates in Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon, along with all other law enforcement agencies in Jackson and Josephine Counties.
How to Help
People with helpful information on crimes can call 800-3-DETECT (800-333-8328). Callers with information on criminal activity can receive up to $1,000 in cash. Callers are given a "file number," and their names are kept confidential.
The Crime Stoppers segment highlighting local and/or regional crimes appears on KTVL Channel 10 on Tuesday evenings at 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts. Crime Stoppers is also featured weekly in the Mail Tribune.
