The Spring 2019 Burn Window has been scheduled for April 27th - May 5th. Blackberry brambles and other yard debris may be burned during the open burn window. With the recent change in recycling, please note the burning of cardboard and paper is strictly prohibited.
The Fire Marshal reserves the right to modify or cancel the open burn window should unfavorable conditions return to Southern Oregon.
Open burning within city limits requires a permit, which costs $10 and is available as follows:

Permits Go On Sale:
April 24th - May 3rd, 2019
Permits will be sold Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm excluding holidays. The office is closed at noon for lunch.
$10.00 for 9 consecutive days. No refunds will be issued for unused permits.
