COMMENTS Similar to the shrub lilacs, but larger and flowers a bit later. The flowers have been described as "large clusters of small creamy-white, producing fragrant aromas." Tolerant of dry sites, but not drought. Give this tree full sun and moist, well-drained soils. Tolerance of acidic and alkaline soils. Features: flowers. Full sun. Approved cultivars include 'Ivory Silk,' but other cultivars can be submitted to Urban Forester for approval.
