COMMENTS Several species available, featuring white or red flowers. Brilliant shades of yellow, orange, purple, and scarlet fall color. Moderate to high drought tolerance. Good street tree under powerlines. Make sure to select species and cultivars appropriate for street trees, so no weeping crabapples. 'Sproutless' cultivars are preferred but not required. Features: wildlife, flowers, fall color. Full sun to partial shade.
