Drinking Water Week 2023 Poster Contest Winners
For more than 40 years, the City of Grants Pass and the American Water Works Association (AWWA) have celebrated Drinking Water Week - a unique opportunity for communities to come together and recognize the vital role water plays in our daily lives. As part of the annual celebration, the City of Grants Pass created a Drinking Water Week Poster Contest.
This year, more than 20 local students submitted original artwork focused on the theme: “Go with the Flow.” The artwork was submitted in three categories: Grades K-2, 3-5, and 6-8. Entrants were allowed to use crayons, colored pencils, markers, pens, or watercolors on an 8.5” x 11” piece of paper.
Entries were judged based on creativity, originality, and relevance to the theme. Winners and their artwork will be featured on City social media platforms and County buses this summer.
