Business Funding & Incentive Programs

The City has a number of programs aimed at aiding local businesses and attracting new businesses to the area. The city specifically targets manufacturing, wholesale distribution, regional service centers, and high-tech companies in the 10 to 300-employee range. Some of the services and programs offered by the city include the following:

*2023* Energy Trust of Oregon No-Cost LED Lighting Upgrade Program for Small Businesses

In partnership with Grants Pass & Josephine County Chamber of Commerce, the City of Grants Pass is assisting in the rollout of the Energy Trust of Oregon's Energy Trust of oregon logono-cost lighting upgrades for small businesses in Grants Pass. Eligibility is simple; you must be a customer of Pacific Power AND have 20 employees or less OR operate in an existing space that is 20,000 sq. ft. or less. Building Facade Matching Grant Fund Program

The Grants Pass Facade Improvement Grant Fund is to provide grants for the restoration/renovation of these buildings and others in designated areas within the City of Grants Pass.

Sustainable Tourism Grant Application Opens in new windowThe Sustainable Tourism Grant program assists with promotional activities that will lead to sustainable tourism through attracting tourists and increased overnight stays. It provides funding up to $5,000 to registered businesses and nonprofit organizations within the City who desire to promote tourism focused activities and events.
