Grants Pass Oregon rated in the Top Ten Best Performing Small Cities according to the Milken Institute.
A nonpartisan think tank, the Milken Institute works to improve lives around the world by advancing innovative economic and policy solutions that create jobs, widen access to capital, and enhance health. They have been producing Best Performing Cities: Where America’s Jobs Are Created since 2004.
Grants Pass joined the list of 200 cities in 2015 and quickly jumped 48 places, from 56th to eighth in just one year.
Driving factors include the expansion of health care services, including the new Three Rivers Medical Center building, Mycorrhizal Applications, a Valent acquisition, as a regional leader in agriculture products, and one of the fastest growing businesses in Grants Pass, Dutch Bros.
