DETAILS:
The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety would like to remind everyone that the school year has come to an end. With the end of the school year, we need to drive more cautiously and be aware of the pedestrians and bicyclists around us.

In order to help make pedestrians safe, the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety will continue to conduct pedestrian enforcement operations throughout the summer months. Our next pedestrian operation will occur on June 18, 2007, at the intersection of SE ‘M’ Street and SE 8th Street.

On the day before the operation, the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety will post the intersection, informing drivers of the upcoming operation. The pedestrian used in the operation will wear bright colors, making the pedestrian clearly visible for hundreds of yards, in attempt to be fair in our enforcement efforts.
