The City of Grants Pass is requesting bids for the sale of 607 surplus water meters. The meters are used and consist of the following:

552 5/8” x 3/4” Neptune model “T10”
36 5/8” x 3/4" ABB model “C700”
2 1.0” ABB model “C700”
6 1.5” Neptune model “T10”
3 2.0” Neptune model “T10”
8 2.0” Neptune model “HP Trident”

All meters are greater than 15 years in age. All meters are offered for sale in “as is” condition and without warranty.

All bids shall be for the purchase of the entire lot of 607 meters and shall specify a per meter price for each size and model category. The successful bidder shall be responsible for all costs related to the “pick up” and transport of the meters.

Bids must be sealed and directed to," Bob L Hamblin, Distribution and Collection Superintendent of the City of Grants Pass, Oregon" and marked " SALE OF SURPLUS WATER METERS " and must be properly signed by the person or persons making such bid.

Bids will be publicly opened and read on July, 20, 2010 at 3:00 p.m., 101 N.W. "A" Street, Room 105, Grants Pass, Oregon 97526.

Bidder will be notified of award within seven (7) days after bid opening.
