Beginning Monday, June 18, 2018, work will begin on the synthetic turf replacement on Mel Ingram Field at Grants Pass High School. Work will continue through August 10, 2018.
There will be intermittent traffic control on “A” Street with flaggers assisting truck/construction traffic entering and existing the field between 7:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., Mondays through Fridays.
Emergency vehicles will be allowed full access to “A” Street during the course of the project. If possible, all traffic is encouraged to find an alternate route.
Dean Drive between “A” Street and Olive Street will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the project. Emergency vehicles will NOT have access to this section of Dean Drive.
Visitors to the GP School District office or the Performing Arts Center should use 8th Street to access those facilities.
Signage will be in place to direct traffic.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and find alternate routes.
