Parking Permits

The city offers reserved parking in 90 available spaces located in the city's 4 long term parking lots. Parking permits for the available spaces may be purchased by employees, employers, and residents of the Central Business District. Additionally the city offers free parking for up to 12 hours daily in the red lot located on the corner of 4th and F streets behind the Post Office.

The City of Grants Pass finance office will be accepting applications for downtown parking permits from 9:00 am Monday March 13th through 5:00 pm Monday March 27th. Permits will be issued by a lottery system – a random number will be assigned to each application, and the drawing of numbers will be conducted by the City Manager or designee and witnessed by a finance customer service department employee. Applicants will be notified by phone or email beginning Tuesday, March 28th. Fees are payable when the permit is picked up. Recipients will have two weeks to pick up their permits before another application is drawn. No permits will be issued prior to March 29th.
This renewal period, applicants may request a 6 month permit for $120.00 or a 12 month permit for $240.00. Permits will be valid effective the first business day of April 2017. 6 month permits will expire on September 30, 2017; 12 month permits will expire on March 31 2018.
